Kuantan early History

This  the old foto of Kuantan Town, PAHANG State's Capitol. This picture was taken somewhere after World War II.
I saw it for the first time when I had breakfirst in Old towm Cafe near Mega Mall. When I look at the street nowdays, the lanscapes & structures don't change that much, perhaps the Authority wants to keep the nostalgic Colonial architectural intact as a historical sites, so they only allow the owners of those buildings to do some patchings on the cracks and  new paint jobs.
I couldn' agree more with the ideas and steps taken to restore the historical structures and the surroundings. In a matter of fact it is good for us the new genetations so we could observe and apreciate the sentimental values, also to respect   The State Administration for preserving old buildings along side the vehemeth newer and more morden achitectures.

The new would not have exist without the oldies. It is not only about physical structures, bulidings, cars ect. Its also about human behavier changes and evolution.New development comes togathet with new changes and with it, new problems Malaysia is a multi ratial, multi cultural Country, thirty two millions  individual, with his own characteristic and cultural back ground. With so many different ethnic groups, religous believes and rituals, ratial tension and disagreements cannot be avoided, so the government has set up a strict rules and regulations as a guideline so the diversities of ethnic group can live in peace and harmony. Malaysia cannot afford invasions and May thirteens.
Comunity leaders and ethnic heads must play a vital role in keeping the population to respect each other's  principles and religious believes, we have many celebration and holidays here, it is a common scene. The majority Malay with two Eduls, The Chinese and their New year, Dewalee for the Indians, also the Sikhs.
In East Malaysia, with countless tribal & ethnic's festivals, so many.
Most importantly, we are going to celebrate our National Day on 31st. August each year.
A celebration that commemorate the symbol of unity among Malaysian despite differencess in believes and politics.
Finally I would like to congratulate my fellow Malaysians for their hardwork and cintributions, for their courages, to with hold, withstand the challenges, with one goal, to defend the sovereignity of our Proud Nation whenever a cricis arises or may have come.
We are Malaysia and this is our home.Hope for a better more prosperous future, and hope for a just new Malaysia.

Making a living

BasmAllah , We often ask ourselves at some point, " What is there in life" "Have we done something or repay any chance or hope which we have borrowed or perhaps stole from our future generation". "A Legacy  or foot mark some where for our children and grandchildren to remember us with". Most importantly " have we fulfil our duty as HIS humble servants". I am just a normal person with lots and lots of handicaps & misfortunes, tons of unfulfilled responsibilities. Not forgetting unmanned broken hearts, that is all i can say. But now I just want to forget about it, not to say that I don't want to be bothered about it because no matter what. its all my responsibility and I have to be accounted for. To my wife, my Children and specially to my self, life must go on. No body is perfect, nothing is perfect except Allah swt . But if we have the right attitude, a good intention and concertrate planning, seriously focusing to do something...
